Office Assistants provide a vital link between ASSP (the Student Union Board, the Student Ministry staff, the Student Senate, as well as the executive officers and staff) and the student body, and serve as the primary means for students to use the services and resources that ASSP provides. Some Office Assistants work closely with a selected officer, while others handle a wide range of special tasks and extra projects. In addition, Office Assistants often serve as members of ASSP Senate committees. Not only does each Office Assistant work closely with the executive, they have the option of working with all the officers, the Student Senate, and the Student Union Board. The ASSP Office Assistant staff is selected, directed, and supported by the ASSP Public Relations Manager.
