Welcome to The Falcons
Online Tourney Central specifically directed toward the 2004
NCAA Division II Women's Basketball West Regional Championship
Tournament. This year's competition is being held in the
2,650-seat Brougham Pavilion in Seattle on the campus of Seattle
Pacific University, the Great Northwest Athletic Conference
champion.
The top eight teams in the west earn berths in
the West Regional, one of eight regional tournaments in women's
basketball. Each of these regionals have eight teams that make up
the 64-team NCAA field.
As opposed to earlier years when there was a
six-team field, no byes are extended in the first round.
