Falcon Track & Field Camp 2007
The Falcon Track and Field Camp is designed for
aspiring athletes ages 9-13. Our teaching style is to introduce
and teach techniques in decathlon and heptathlon training. Campers
will learn many of the baseline principles that professional
athletes train with on a day to day basis. SPU coaching staff and
athletes will offer general strength instruction, along with
sprint mechanics, and personal attention in each of the designated
decathlon and heptathlon events.

activity on Independence Day)

Falcon Girls Volleyball Camp 2007
The Falcon Volleyball Camp is designed for
middle school and high school girls who wish to learn advanced
volleyball skills or sharpen their current abilities. There are
two camps: a two-day session for middle school ages, and a
four-day high school session. Players will be divided by age and
ability to increase their individual experience. Each athlete will
receive individual instruction and positive feedback. The camp
will be organized and run by the SPU coaching staff and players.

grades 6-8) July 30-31; High School (entering grades 9-12) Aug.

Falcon Girl's Basketball Camp
2007
The Falcon Girls Basketball Camp is designed
for girls entering grades 4-10 who have a desire to learn
individual and team fundamental skills. Players are divided by age
and ability so that each can compete at her own level.
Besides daily games and drills, athletes learn
sound fundamentals of offense and defense; how to develop a
positive mental attitude; what it takes to be competitive; and the
importance team play. In addition, each athlete receives focused
individual instruction and affirmation from the coaching staff.

The Falcon Boys Basketball Camp is designed for
boys entering grades 3-10 who want to learn individual and team

Falcon Running Camp 2007
Founded in 1960, the Falcon Running Camp is the
longest continuing program of its kind in the nation. During the
past 44 years, hundreds of runners of all ages have enjoyed
covering the wooded trails, open fields and endless beaches of
Seattle Pacific University's Casey Campus on Whidbey Island. Many
have returned again and again to test "the ridge" and
run off into an evening sunset. We hope you'll take the
opportunity to run at Casey too.
Daily teaching and discussion sessions address
such topics as schedule building, mental preparation, injury
prevention, nutrition, strength and flexibility training,
motivation, cross training and race preparation.
- Camp Dates: One resident session,
July 22-27
- Program: Two formal training
sessions each day for junior and senior high campers. The
morning is a special time of camaraderie. The afternoon session
focuses on technique and racing strategy.

Northwest
Soccer Camp 2007
Northwest Soccer Camp is renowned throughout
the region and nation as one of the most popular, long-standing
and unique soccer experiences a player can enjoy. Founded by
Seattle Pacific University men's coach Cliff McCrath in 1973, NWSC
has provided quality instruction in a safe and fun environment to
more than two generations of players, including the likes of U.S.
World Cup stars Kasey Keller and Michelle Akers.

- Program: Individual fundamentals,
positional play and team tactics will be taught according to age
and ability. Player to coach ratio is approximately 12 to 1.

Island. Camp Casey is located on 2000 feet of saltwater beach.
The camp includes 14 junior and four regulation-size fields, as

from $355-575, depending on session. All weeks are co-ed and
include food, lodging, instruction and 24-hour supervision.

Northwest Soccer Multi-Sport Camp
2007
Northwest Soccer's Multi-Sport Camp introduces
boys and girls to games and activities they may not have played.
We do this in a fun-filled environment geared toward meaningful
participation. Sports and games may include soccer, basketball,
track & field, swimming, floor hockey and other indoor and
outdoor activities. Campers should bring a snack, drink and sack
lunch daily.

Falcon Gymnastics Summer
Recreation 2007
The Falcon Gymnastics Center summer program
strives to provide positive learning opportunities in a safe
environment for all gymnasts. Our fully-equipped facility includes
two in-ground foam pits, a 30-foot long trampoline, competitive
apparatus for all events and other specialized teaching stations.
Prior gymnastics experience is not required.
