SEATTLE (Sept. 11) ­ Going into great Northwest Athletic Conference play Seattle Pacific University is No. 8 in NSCAA/adidas women's soccer coaches poll for NCAA Division II.

The Falcons (6-0-0) have allowed only two goals, and play their next two contest at Interbay Stadium. They host Central Washington Wednesday (Sept. 12) and Western Washington Saturday (Sept. 15).

It's the best rating for SPU since last September.

Michigan's Grand Valley State remains at No. 1 for the second week in a row, in front of UC San Diego.
