Falcons Fall Out of Volleyball Rankings
September 3, 2007

SEATTLE (Sept. 3) ­ Although two of its three losses were to the nation's top two teams, Seattle Pacific University fell out of the NCAA Division II volleyball rankings this week.

The Falcons (5-3), who begin Great Northwest Athletic Conference play Thursday night, had been No. 20 in the CSTV/AVCA preseason coaches poll.

Cal State San Bernardino and Tampa, ranked 1-2, each swept SPU in the opening two weeks. The other loss was to Sagniaw Valley State.
