CORK, Ireland (July 24) – Jeff Hallenbeck of Seattle Pacific University is a member of the U.S. Amateur National Soccer Team which will play the first of two games against the Republic of Ireland Wednesday.

Hallenbeck (Sr., Redmond, Wa./Inglemoor) will serve as co-captain on the 18-man squad comprised of current collegians. Among his teammates are Washington’s George John and Ely Allen.

The Americans face Ireland’s amateurs at Turners Cross in the first match and play again Saturday at Cooke Park in Tipperary Town.

Hallenbeck is the Falcons’ No. 2 returning scorer, having scored five goals last season. SPU players report to training next month, with the first game Aug. 23 at Chico State.
