SEATTLE (May 29) ­ Francesca Jacobs of Puyallup and Betsy Snook of Milwaukie, Oregon, have signed national letters of intent to compete in gymnastics for Seattle Pacific University next season.

Jacobs, a senior at Rogers High School, will compete at the YMCA National Championships next month in Puyallup. She is a member of Lakewood's Grace Gymnastics, where she was a teammate of SPU redshirt freshman Kelli Bates.

Snook is a Level 10 competitor for Sunburst and a senior at Rex Putnam High School.

Earlier, the Falcons had received commitments from Brianna Steigauf (Richfield, Mn.) and Laura Willis (Temecula, Ca.).

Seattle Pacific finished second in the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships under coach Laurel Tindall. The Falcons lose their top two all-arounders to graduation.
