SEATTLE (Apr. 30) ­Seattle Pacific University sprinter Jessica Hinton was named track and field's co-athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Hinton (Fr., Lake Stevens, Wa.) won four events at the Western Washington Twilight, finishing first in the 100 (12.68) and 200 (26.20) meters and also running the second leg on her team's winning 4x100 (48.12) and 4x400 (3:53.98) relay teams. The former posted the top time in the conference this spring.

The Falcons compete Friday and Saturday at the GNAC Championships in Bellingham.
