SEATTLE (Apr. 6) – Seattle Pacific University’s Dustin Bremerman has been selected for the inaugural Collegiate Basketball Invitational, a 60-player combine for men’s basketball players from NCAA Division II and III and the NAIA.

The College Basketball Invitational will be held Apr. 19-21 in Wadsworth, Ohio. Six teams of 10 players will play a double-elimination tournament. There will be a championship game followed by the nationally-televised CBI All-star Game Apr. 21.

Bremerman (Sr., 6-4, Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower) was selected by a 12-member committee consisting of four coaches each from NCAA II and III and the NAIA. The event’s objective is to provide opportunities for professional teams and agents to evaluate players from non-Division I programs.

Last month, Bremerman played in the NCAA Division II/NABC All-Star Game. He finished his career as Seattle Pacific’s No. 2 career scorer, and averaged 18.98 points in his final season. Bremerman was named All-America by both the NABC and Division 2 Bulletin.
