Huss Makes All-MPSF Women's Gymnastics First Team in Four Categories
April 3, 2007

SEATTLE (Apr. 3) Seattle Pacific University's Debra Huss led all gymnasts with four first-team honors as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-conference teams were announced Monday.

Huss (Sr., Orangevale, Ca./Bella Vista) made the first team on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and all-around, based on her regional qualifying scores. Huss won the floor MPSF floor championship last week.

The Falcons' other first team representative was Kristin Bryant (Sr., Anchorage, Ak./West Anchorage) on vault, an event on which she took first at the conference meet.

Sarah Sullivan (Sr., Salem, Or./Sprague) of SPU was second team all-MPSF on three vents: vault, beam and floor. Sullivan won the league beam title. Ashley Domres (Jr., Phoenix, Az./Scottsdale Christian)) was selected on bars.

Seattle Pacific's Kathy Siwek shared MPSF assistant coach of the year with Ron Monara of UC Davis. The Aggies' John Lavallee and Andi Dolinsky were voted coach and gymnast of the year, respectively.

After winning their second straight MPSF crown, the Falcons are now idle until hosting the USA Collegiate National Championships Apr. 19-21.
