SEATTLE (Mar. 26) Spring training -- a
series of five exhibition games for both the Seattle Pacific
University men's and women's soccer teams -- begins this week with
the resumption of classes.
Interbay Stadium will be the site of three
men's and all five women's games. Admission to home games is free.
Men's Soccer
A series of demanding contests features bouts with the A-League
Seattle Sounders, Washington and Oregon State (twice).
Seattle Pacific has eight starters back from
the team which won a share of the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference title and made the NCAA Division II for the second year
in a row.

Women's Soccer
The Falcons, coming off another NCAA Division II tournament
appearance last fall, begin Saturday night, hosting the Alumni.
The slate concludes with matches against Washington and Oregon
State, Apr. 21 and 28.2 p.m., Lorenz Field
Eight starters are back from the squad which
finished 17-5-0 and ranked No. 14 under head coach Chuck Sekyra.
