SEATTLE (Mar. 21) Seattle Pacific
University's Dustin Bremerman has been voted to the 16-member NCAA
Division II All-America team by the National Association of
Basketball Coaches.
Bremerman (Sr., 6-4, Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower), a
two-time all-region selection, becomes only the fourth
All-American for the Falcons, joining Tony Binetti (2006), Jeff
McBroom (1999) and Howard Heppner (1966).
Bremerman was earlier voted the Great Northwest
Athletic Conference co-player of the year and all-West Region by
both CoSIDA and the NABC. He was also selected to play in the Div.
II All-Star game Friday in Springfield, Mass.
In his final season, Bremerman led the Falcons
in scoring (18.9) and three-pointers (70), and finished No. 2 for
his career in both categories. Joining Bremerman on the
All-America team from the West Region was Kevin Johnson of
Humboldt State.
