Falcons’ Pixler Does It Again, Takes GNAC Weekly Women's Track Award
March 19, 2007

SEATTLE (Mar. 19) – For the second week in a row, Seattle Pacific University’s Jessica Pixler was named women’s track and field co-athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Pixler (Fr., Sammamish, Wa./Eastlake) crushed the GNAC record and established a NCAA automatic qualifying time in winning the 3000 meters at the Washington Preview. She was clocked in a time of 9:37.41--15.5 seconds better than the previous conference record. It was also the fastest 3000 time by a SPU athlete in 15 years.

The Falcons send a team to Los Angeles and the Trojan Invitational Saturday.
