Falcons’ Hill Is GNAC Women's Cager of Week

SEATTLE (Mar. 12) –Seattle Pacific University’s Kelsey Hill was selected as the women’s basketball player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after leading the Falcons into the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Hill finished her season with five double-doubles in the last six games. She had 19 points and 10 rebounds in an opening-round win over Sonoma State and 16 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday’s loss to Chico State. Hill made 16 of 27 shots in the two contests.

Hill became the first sophomore to lead SPU in season scoring (12.2) in rebounding (8.5) since Tosca Lindberg in since 1991. The Falcons were 20-9 and bring back four starters next season.
