SEATTLE (Mar. 7) Seattle Pacific University
scoring and rebounding leader Kelsey Hill has been voted to the
Daktronics all-West Region womens basketball second team.
Hill (So., 6-2, Portland, Or./Portland
Christian), who was also a unanimous all-Great Northwest Athletic
Conference first team selection earlier this week, is a first-time
regional honoree.
The Falcons (19-8) open with Sonoma State at
the NCAA Division II West Regional in La Jolla, Calif., Friday.
Hill becomes just the Falcons second
underclassmen to earn all-region honors. She averaged 11.9 points
and 8.4 rebounds during the regular season, ranking 10th and
third, respectively, in the GNAC. She also ranked among the
leaders in field-goal percentage (.514) and free-throw percentage
(.765).

region player of the year. Joining Juster on the first team were
