SEATTLE (Feb. 13) ­ Debra Huss of Seattle Pacific University has been named the gymnast of the week in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation after winning two events plus the all-around versus Sacramento State.

Huss (Sr., Orangevale, Ca.) earned the conference award for the second time in a month by getting a season-high score on beam (9.800) and taking the floor exercise with a 9.825. Her all-around total of 38.900 was her highest in nearly two years and ties for No. 9 all-time for the Falcons.

SPU hosts San Jose State Friday night.
