SEATTLE (Jan. 23) ­Seattle Pacific University's Debra Huss was named the women's gymnast of the week in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation after starring for the Falcons on opening night.

Huss (Sr., Orangevale, Ca./Bella Vista) won the floor exercise (9.850) and tied for second on balance beam (9.625) en route to claiming the all-around title (38.725) against UC Davis.

SPU visits San Jose State Friday night for a four-way meet.
