SEATTLE (Dec. 27) ­Seattle Pacific University's Autumn Fielding was selected as the women's basketball player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after helping the Falcons win the Great Western Classic.

Fielding (Sr., 5-9, Kennewick, Wa.) led SPU to wins over UC San Diego and Cal Poly Pomona, scoring 32 points in the two games to make the all-tournament team. Fielding made nine of 16 shots, including five of eight treys. She also had eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Seattle Pacific (6-3) hosts No. 4-ranked North Dakota Saturday at 2 p.m.
