SEATTLE (Dec. 4) Seattle Pacific
University's Dustin Bremerman was selected as the men's basketball
player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference
after tying a Falcon record and leading his team to an overtime
win over No. 17 BYU Hawaii.
Bremerman (Sr., 6-4, Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower)
scored a career-high 43 points and tied the mark for
three-pointers made (9) in ninth-ranked SPU's victory over the
previously unbeaten Seasiders. His two treys in the final 62
seconds of regulation helped force the overtime. He then scored
eight of his team's 14 points in the extra session.
Bremerman's point total ranks No. 3 all-time at
SPU and equaled the fifth-highest in GNAC history. The nine treys
matched the No. 2 mark in conference history.
Seattle Pacific (4-1) is idle until visiting
Cal State San Bernardino Dec. 12.
