SEATTLE (Nov. 29) ­ Seattle Pacific University's Kara Hamby, Sarah Martinez and Carolyn Nason were all voted to All-Far West Region first team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Martinez (Jr., Bothell, Wa./Cedar Park Christian), a forward and the Falcons' top scorer, and Nason (Sr., Lafayette, Co.), a defender, were repeat selections. A midfielder, Hamby (Jr., Spokane, Wa./Mead) made the second team a year ago. All are finalists for the All-America team.

Making the second team were forward Alex Kirk (Fr., Edmonds, Wa./Edmonds-Woodway) and defender Claire Grubbs (So., Sterling, Va.).

Seattle Pacific finished 17-5-0 and advanced to the regional championship game for the third year in a row.
