SEATTLE (Nov. 20) ­Seattle Pacific University's Rob Will was selected as the men's basketball co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after breaking a Falcon and GNAC record in his first game.

Will (Jr., 6-10, Seattle, Wa./O'Dea) blocked nine shots in a season-opening win over Cal State L.A., when he also scored 18 points and seven rebounds. He was voted to the Sodexho Tip-Off Classic all-tournament team after converting 13 of 16 field goals and totaling 32 points in a pair of SPU victories.

Seattle Pacific (2-0) faces UC San Diego and Cal State Dominguez Hills this weekend in Las Vegas.
