SEATTLE (Nov. 15) Sarah Martinez and
Carolyn Nason of Seattle Pacific University were voted to the
Daktronics All-Far West region first team for womens soccer.
Martinez (Jr., Bothell, Wa./Cedar Park
Christian) led the Falcons (17-5-0) in scoring while Nason (Sr.,
Lafayette, Co.) was a stalwart in central defense.
Voted to the second team was midfielder Kara
Hamby (Jr., Spokane, Wa./Mead).
Seattle Pacific advanced to the regional
championship game for the third consecutive year.
