SEATTLE (Nov. 15) Alyssa Given and Jenna
Von Moos, record-setting members of the Seattle Pacific University
volleyball team, have been named to the AVCA All-Pacific Region
first team by a vote of coaches.
It is only the second time that two SPU players
have made the AVCA first team in the same season.
Given (Jr., Salinas, Ca./Notre Dame) set

the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in kills and points.
Von Moos (Sr., Stanwood, Wa.) broke the season
mark for assists average and finished atop the career list.
Earlier, she was voted GNAC player of the year.
Receiving honorable mention was middle blocker
Rachel Biornstad (Jr., Kent, Wa./Kentlake), the Falcons
