SEATTLE (Nov. 6) ­ Seattle Pacific University's top hitter, Alyssa Given, shared volleyball player of the week honors in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after another record-setting performance.

Given (Jr., Salinas, Ca./Notre Dame) set school records for kills (32) and attempts (86) as the Falcons extended their win streak to 18 matches at Western Washington. Given's kill and kill attempt totals were also GNAC records for a four-game match. Her kill total equaled the second-highest total in GNAC history for any match and the attempt total tied the conference record
