a cross from deep on the left side, and slotted it to the right
post in the final minute of regulation to lift Seattle Pacific
University over Western Oregon 1-0, in a Great Northwest Athletic
Conference womens soccer match Saturday afternoon at
Interbay Stadium.
Godoys (Fr., Yakima, Wa./West Valley)
game-winner came when Tricia Loomis (Jr., Des Moines, Wa./Mount
Rainier) sprung Jessica Gerstmann (Jr., Puyallup, Wa./Cascade

made a move on a Western Oregon defender and carried the ball 40
yards to the corner.
Gerstmanns cross found Godoy on the far
right. Godoy beat Wolves keeper Aly Meyer from six yards for her
second goal of the season (89:14).
The goal came on the heels of a 20-3 shot
advantage on the side of Seattle Pacific. Alex Kirk (Fr., Edmonds,
Wa./Edmonds-Woodway) and Kara Hamby (Jr., Spokane, Wa./Mead) each
caromed shots off the crossbar in the first half.

minutes remaining when Sarah Skotte put an attempt from 10 yards
just to the right of the framework.
Falcon keeper Katie Ruggles (Sr., Eugene,
Or./South Eugene) tallied a solitary save in the match; Meyer
finished with a half-dozen. Seattle Pacific earned six corner
