SEATTLE (Oct. 11) There was movement
among the top 10 of the NCAA Division II men¹s soccer
rankings, but it did not involve Seattle Pacific University which
remained at No. 6.
The Falcons (10-3-0) stood still in the
NSCAA/adidas preseason rankings while there was a new team at the
top. New Hampshire¹s Franklin Pierce assumed the mantle from
Florida¹s Lynn.
SPU meets No. 15 Seattle University Saturday
night at Interbay Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
SPU remained No. 1 slot in the Far West Region,
ahead of Seattle University and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
In women's soccer, Seattle Pacific fell out of
the top 25 for the first time in three years. The Falcons had been
No. 19 prior to an Oct. 3 loss at Western Washington.
