Seattle Pacific Still No. 15 in Volleyball Poll
October 9, 2006

SEATTLE (Oct. 9) – Seattle Pacific University held steady at No. 15 in the women’s volleyball rankings for NCAA Division II this week.

The Falcons (18-2), off to the best start in their history and winners of 12 in a row, will host No. 21 Central Washington Thursday night in Brougham Pavilion. The No. 15 ranking, which SPU first received last week, is an all-time high.

Although there was upheaval within the top 10 of the CSTV/AVCA coaches poll, there was little movement involving teams ranked 14th or lower.

Missouri’s Truman State replaced Michigan’s Grand Valley State at No. 1. Cal State San Bernardino, one of three remaining unbeatens, rose to No. 3.
