Falcon Women Slide Out of Top 10 Soccer Poll

SEATTLE (Oct. 3) ­For the first time in more than two years Seattle Pacific University has dropped out of the top 10 in women's soccer rankings for NCAA Division II.

The Falcons (10-2-0) slid from sixth to 19th in this week's NSCAA/adidas coaches poll following a 1-0 loss to now-No. 11 Seattle University. Two other top-10 teams from a week ago also lost.

Nebraska-Omaha is still No. 1, with West Chester (Pa.) jumping from fifth to No. 2. They share perfect records along with No. 6 Quincy (Il.).

Seattle Pacific lost its No. 1 spot in the Far West Region to UC San Diego.
