SEATTLE (Oct. 3) For the first time in
more than two years Seattle Pacific University has dropped out of
the top 10 in women's soccer rankings for NCAA Division II.
The Falcons (10-2-0) slid from sixth to 19th in
this week's NSCAA/adidas coaches poll following a 1-0 loss to
now-No. 11 Seattle University. Two other top-10 teams from a week
ago also lost.
Nebraska-Omaha is still No. 1, with West
Chester (Pa.) jumping from fifth to No. 2. They share perfect
records along with No. 6 Quincy (Il.).
Seattle Pacific lost its No. 1 spot in the Far
West Region to UC San Diego.
