SEATTLE (Sept. 26) With five teams
possessing perfect records ahead of them, Seattle Pacific
University remained entrenched at No. 6 in this week's women's
rankings for NCAA Division II.
The Falcons (9-1-0) are one of two teams in the
top nine of NSCAA/adidas coaches poll to have lost this season.
Nebraska-Omaha is No. 1, ahead of Metro State
(Co.), Carson-Newman (Tn.), Grand Valley State (Mi.) and West
Chester (Pa.). They are among seven teams with perfect records.
Seattle Pacific has been steadfast at No. 1 in
the Far West Region, ahead of UC San Diego, and Seattle
University, ranked 13th and 16th nationally.
