Falcon Harriers Reach No. 9 in Women's Cross Country Nationally
September 26, 2006

SEATTLE (Sept. 26) ­ After another meet victory, Seattle Pacific University moved up to No. 9 in this week's women's rankings for NCAA Division II cross country.

The Falcons bumped up from No. 10 nationally and retained their lead in the West Region over Chico State.

Adams State (Co.) is No. 1, ahead of Grand Valley State (Mi.).

SPU holds it annual alumni meet Saturday at Seattle's Green Lake. The next intercollegiate race is Oct. 7 at the Western Washington Invitaitonal.
