SEATTLE (Sept. 18) ­ For the second week in a row, Seattle Pacific University's Jessica Pixler has been named the cross country Runner of the Week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Pixler (Fr., Sammamish, WA./Eastlake) won her second race in as many outings, finishing with a 3-second margin at the Sundodger Open. Pixler ran the 6000 meters in 21 minutes, 35 seconds and the Falcons were the top NCAA Division II team and second overall.

SPU competes at the Saint Martin's Open Saturday in Lacey.
