September 18, 2006

SEATTLE (Sept. 18) Seattle Pacific University returned to its perch of 18th in the CSTV/AVCA volleyball rankings for NCAA Division II this week. The Falcons (12-2), who had been 18th in the preseason and first weekly rankings, had dropped to No. 19 a week ago.

Tampa was once again a near-unanimous No. 1 pick. BYU Hawaii, one of two teams to defeat SPU, received the other first-place vote.

Seattle Pacific plays at Northwest Nazarene Thursday night, the first of four straight on the road.
