SEATTLE (Sept. 18) ­ Andy Willis of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer co-player of the week after scoring twice in a pair of road wins.

Willis (Sr., Gig Harbor, Wa./Gig Harbor) converted what proved to be the game-winning goal in a 4-1 win at Western Washington. He had also scored the final marker in a 3-1 victory at Cal State Monterey Bay. Willis is the team co-leader with three goals.

Seattle Pacific (6-2-0) opens a three-game home stand Friday versus Grand Canyon.
