SEATTLE (Sept. 12) Despite a couple road
wins, Seattle Pacific University slipped one spot to 19th in the
CSTV/AVCA volleyball rankings for NCAA Division II.
The Falcons (10-2), who had 18th in the
preseason and first weekly rankings, have been in the top 25
dating back to Sept. 6, 2005.
Tampa consolidated its No. 1 ranking, earning
34 of 36 first-place votes.
Central Washington, the defending GNAC
co-champion, is ranked No. 13. A total of seven Pacific Region
teams are among the top 25, topped by Cal State San Bernardino at
No. 7.
