2006-07 Schedule
SEATTLE (Aug. 31) -- Seattle Pacific University
will open its 2006-07 women's basketball season by playing four of
the first five dates at home and meeting its first Division I
opponent in nine years.
The Falcons visit Gonzaga Nov. 30 for the
fourth game of the season. They have played the Bulldogs twice in
preseason games recently, including last year.
Regular season play opens at home with the
Sodexho Tip-Off Classic, Nov. 17-18. SPU meets Warner Pacific and
Azusa Pacific, respectively.
Following a Dec. 2 contest with Lewis-Clark
State, the next four games are on the road, including the first
trip to Las Vegas, Dec. 19-20, for the GNAC/CCAA Challenge.
Seattle Pacific has rematches with all three of
its playoff opponents from last season, meeting Chico State Dec. 9
in Rohnert Park, Calif.; UC San Diego Dec. 19 in Vegas and two
bouts with Western Washington. Div. I-bound North Dakota is the
final non-conference game Dec. 30.
Seattle Pacific advanced to the NCAA Division
II West Region championship game and finished 24-6. It will begin
defense of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship
Jan. 4 at home against Central Washington.
