SEATTLE (May 25) -- Seattle Pacific University gymnast Sarah Sullivan and rowing coxswain Megan Giske have been voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII team.

Sullivan (Jr., Salem, Or/Sprague) and Giske (Sr., Gig Harbor, Wa.) are now finalists for the Academic All-America team for at-large sports.

An art major, Sullivan has a cumulative grade point average of 3.64. She finished third on vault and in the all-around at the USA Gymnastics Championships last month.

Giske guided the Falcon varsity eight to third place at the NCAA Division II West Regional two weeks ago. She is a sociology major with a 3.87 GPA.

The Academic All-America team will be announced June 15.
