Orem, Edmonds Runners Commit to Seattle Pacific Women's Programs

SEATTLE (May 10) ­ Kate Harline, a top distance runner from Orem, Utah, and Lisa Anderberg of Edmonds have signed a national letters of intent to run for Seattle Pacific University.

Harline finished fourth in the Utah 4A state finals of both the 1600 and 3200 meters as a junior. She took sixth place in the cross country championships last fall.

A senior at Kamiak High School, Anderberg is a four-time state 4A cross country qualifier, taking 39th last fall.

Seattle Pacific won Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships in women's cross country, indoor track and outdoor track this year. The Falcons were eighth in the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships a year ago.
