SEATTLE (May 8) ­ Tony Binetti, the top scorer and All-American point guard for Seattle Pacific University's regional championship basketball team, has signed to play for Climamio Bologna, the top team in Italy's Serie A league.

Binetti (Sr., 6-1, Enumclaw, Wa.) left Monday and is expected to make his debut Thursday night when Climamio Bologna plays its next-to-last league game at Viola Reggio Calabria. Binetti's contract will extend through the playoffs, which begin later this month.

Climamio Bologna is the defending Serie A champion. Binetti is slated to play behind former Illinois guard Kiwane Garris.

Elsewhere, former Falcon center Eric Sandrin has signed with Qatar's Al Rayyan for the remainder of the season. Sandrin played for Sioux Falls (So. Dak.) of the CBA this past winter.
