SEATTLE (May 1) – Seattle Pacific University pole vaulter Amy Harris was named the women’s track and field co-athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference following a season-best clearance at the Western Washington Twilight.

Harris (Sr., Corvallis, Or./Crescent Valley) moved up the NCAA Division II provisional qualifier list by going over the bar at 11 feet ,11¾ inches. She finished first in the meet, her second win in the last three weeks. It was also the best mark in the GNAC this spring.

The Falcons compete at the GNAC Championships Saturday in Monmouth, Or., where Harris will be defending her pole vault title.
