SEATTLE (Mar. 14) ­ Robbie Will of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's basketball player of the week playing a key role in the Falcons winning the West Region championship.

Will (So., 6-10, Seattle, Wa./O'Dea) was named the regional tournament's most outstanding player, finishing with 54 points, 28 rebounds and nine blocked shots in three victories. He had career-high totals of 29 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks in a first-round win over Central Washington.

SPU (25-5) next plays Montevallo, the South Region champion, at the NCAA Elite Eight Mar. 22 in Springfield, Mass.
