Anchorage, Ak. (Mar. 10) Jaynie Reynolds
won vault and the all-around to help Seattle Pacific defeat Alaska
Anchorage in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation womens
gymnastics meet at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex Friday night.
Reynolds accumulated 38.500 points as the
Falcons defeated the Seawolves 189.600 to 187.300. En route to the
all-around victory, Reynolds scored an event-winning 9.750 on
vault and was second on bars (9.700).
Sarah Sullivan (Jr., Salem, Or.) led a Falcon
sweep on beam with a season-high 9.800. Ashley Domres (So.,
Scottsdale, Az.) was second with 9.725 and Kristin Bryant (Jr.,
Anchorage, Ak.) was third with 9.700. Sullivan also finished
second on beam (9.650) to place second in the meet (38.375).
The Seawolves Dominique Ingram won bars
(9.725) and Lauren Agostino (9.700) led the teams floor
sweep. Ingram was second on floor (9.675) and Jamie Burton was
third (9.650). Agostino finished third in the all-around with
37.675 points.
Seattle Pacific (4-10) completes the Alaskan
trip Saturday night (Mar. 11) in a tri-meet with Anchorage (5-7)
and Nebraska (11-5-1).
