SEATTLE, Wa. (Feb. 25) – Jaynie Reynolds finished first on vault and floor exercise en route to winning the all-around as Seattle Pacific celebrated a win over Air Force Academy in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation gymnastics meet Saturday night at Brougham Pavilion.

Reynolds (Sr., White Rock, BC) accumulated a season-high 38.800 as SPU defeated Air Force 191.025 to 177.275. The senior night honoree scored 9.725 on vault and 9.750 on floor to place first in those events.

The SPU Falcons added two more first-place finishes to sweep all four events. Ashley Domres (So., Scottsdale, Az.) won bars (9.775) and Sarah Sullivan (Jr., Salem, Or.) was first on beam (9.700). Sullivan scored 37.900 points in the all-around to finish second overall, while Air Force's Lauren Robison was third (36.875)

Reynolds added second-place finishes on bars (9.725) and beam (9.600), while Kristin Bryant (Jr., Anchorage, Ak.) was second on vault. Danna Nelson (Fr., Maple Valley, Wa.) placed third on floor (9.675) and beam (9.525). Brianna Schwartz (Fr., Bonney Lake, Wa.) tied for third on vault with Sullivan (9.600) and was also third floor (9.575).

SPU dominated each rotation, scoring 48.100 on vault, 48.200 on bars, 47.250 on beam and 47.475 on bars. The team total marks the Falcons’ 13th straight home meet of scoring190 points or more.

The Falcons (3-7) begin a stretch of four road meets, beginning Mar. 3 at Washington. Official start time is 7pm.
