SEATTLE (Feb. 13) ­ With the league's top pole vault clearance of the season, Seattle Pacific University's Amy Harris earned women's indoor track and field athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Harris (Sr., Corvallis, Or./Crescent Valley) vaulted 12 feet, 2 inches at the Washington Open for a personal record and No. 2 all-time at SPU. It also improved her NCAA Division II qualifying mark by eight inches.

The Falcons seek to defend their GNAC championships Saturday in Nampa, Id.
