DAVIS, Ca. (Feb. 4) Sarah Sullivan
finished first on balance beam en route to winning the all-around
but it was not enough to lift Seattle Pacific over UC Davis in a
womens gymnastics meet Saturday night at Recreation Hall.
Sullivan (Jr., Salem, Or.) totaled 38.350 in
her four events as the Falcons fell to the Aggies 187.975 to
190.050. In addition to her first place beam score (9.675),
Sullivan also placed second on bars (9.700) behind Katie Reinhardt
of UC Davis (9.725).
The Falcons Kristin Bryant (Jr.,
Anchorage, Ak.) tied for first on vault (9.700) with the Aggies'
Carrie Lujan, while Megan Nakagawa of UC Davis won floor exercise
(9.625).
Jaynie Reynolds (Sr., White Rock, BC) finished
second in the all-around (37.625) followed by Falcon teammate
Brianna Schwartz (36.000).
Seattle Pacific (2-4) returns to action Feb. 10
to host San Jose State.
