SEATTLE (Jan. 25) Although there was a change at the top of the NCAA Division II West Regional women's basketball poll, it did not affect Seattle Pacific University.

The Falcons (12-4), winners of five in a row, remain at No. 6 going into Thursday's home game with Alaska Fairbanks.

Cal State Bakersfield replaced UC San Diego at No. 1. Western Washington remained No. 3. The ratings will ultimately determine the teams and seeding for the postseason tournament in March.
