SEATTLE (Jan. 9) ­ Mike Bushmaker of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's basketball co-player of the week after coming off the bench to lead the Falcons to a pair of road wins.

Bushmaker (Sr., 6-7,Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower) scored a total of 41 points, including a career-high 27 against Humboldt State. He missed just three shots converting on 15 of 18 attempts, including nine of 11 against the Lumberjacks. He also had eight rebounds, three assists and blocked three shots.

SPU, now 11-1 and winner of six straight, hosts Alaska Anchorage Thursday night at 7.
