SPU Women Remain in Top 10 Despite Losses
December 13, 2005

SEATTLE (Dec. 13) Despite experiencing its first losing streak in six years, Seattle Pacific University remained among the top 10 NCAA Division II women's basketball teams in this week's USA TODAY/ESPN coaches poll.

The Falcons (4-2) slid seven spots to No. 10 following losses to No. 11 Chico State and Sonoma State. SPU visits Westmont Saturday.

Defending national champion Washburn (Ks.) remained No. 1 in the nation.
