Martinez (So., Bothell, Wa./Cedar Park Christian), a forward and the Falcons’ top scorer with 16 goals, had earlier been voted the GNAC player of the year. She made second team adidas/NSCAA All-America.

Seattle Pacific was the NCAA runner-up this season, finishing 20-1-4 and ranked No. 2 nationally after losing to Nebraska Omaha, 2-1 in overtime, in the championship game last week.

Franklin Pierce’s Laura Hislop and Lovejoy were the only three-time honorees this year. Besides Lovejoy and Martinez, only one other Far West Region player–Megan Dickey of UC San Diego–was named to one of the three teams.
