SEATTLE (Nov. 16) JoJay Jackson, a
sophomore at California's Solano Community College, has signed a
national letter of intent to play basketball at Seattle Pacific
University beginning next season.
Jackson, a 6-5 forward, averaged 11.7 points
and 6.5 rebounds as a freshman for the Fairfield school. In the
first four games this season, he is averaging 21.0 points. During
his senior season at Vallejo High School Jackson scored 17 points
per game.
Seattle Pacific was 20-9 under Jeff Hironaka
last season and qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament. The
Falcons open their season Friday night at home against Cal State
Monterey Bay.
