SEATTLE (Nov. 3) Allison Teague and
Heidi Jacobson of Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team
have been voted to the ESPN The Magazine CoSIDA College
Division Academic All-District 8 first team.
Teague (Sr., Redmond, Wa./Bellevue Christian)
and Jacobson (Sr., Kirkland, Wa./Cedar Park Christian) both
advance to the Academic All-America ballot. Teague, a midfielder
who has scored two goals and three assists in 19 games this
season, makes the team for the second time in three years. She was
a second team selection in 2003. Teague is a business
administration major with a 3.94 grade point average.
Jacobson, a forward who ranks No. 2 in Great
Northwest Athletic Conference scoring with 11 goals and 28 points,
is a first-time selection. She is a communications major with a
3.50 GPA.
Earlier this week, both Teague and Jacobson
were named to the academic all-GNAC team.
